What is Grange Sports?
Welcome to Grange Sports, Brisbane new home of fast format social sport.
Housing Brisbane’s newest all-weather synthetic multi-sport pitch, our mission is to provide a fun, modern and convenient social sport experience for all ages and function as a community hub for the Brisbane northside.
Grange Sports does not attempt to replicate a traditional football club or conventional indoor sports centre. Instead our proposition is deliberately simple
SHORT GAMES. REAL SPORT. GREAT PEOPLE.
Participants should be able to arrive, play a competitive game, socialise at Grange Social and complete the entire sporting experience without sacrificing your whole evening.
ARRIVE → PLAY → SOCIALISE → RETURN NEXT WEEK
Scheduled for opening at the start of October 2026, Grange Sports is the location of the newest state of the art FIFA Grade synthetic pitch in Brisbane. At full size, the pitch reaches 80x40 meters play area, divided into three indoor sized pitches on which we can host 5v5 and 6v6 competitions across the three courts at any one time. We can also open up to the full length to run 7v7 or 9v9 games on the full play area.
Attached to the playing area will be a full function body weight gym set up for additional fitness training. The venue is also linked to Grange Social which serve up food and drink in their brand new community garden and seating area.
Highlights include;
-
Fifa grade competition level surfaces with the newest technology available;
-
Forget about that black rubber crumb stuff or other infills that fill your boots and spread across the environment. We’re proudly a ‘no infill’ surface – with the same technology as installed at PSG’s flagship training venue in Paris;
-
Our community garden has one of the largest Urban Screens in Brisbane, so grabbing a drink or a beer after your game or while watching your kids play will be comfortable and engaging;
-
Oh, did we mention that we’re part of Grange Social, one of Brisbane’s best loved urban social venues? Great drinks, prices and comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions –
-
We’ve got a whole side and want to register, can we all play together? Yes absolutely, drop us an email at info@grangesports.com.au with the names and we’ll package you all together. Register as normal as a single player via the link.
-
Can I register on my own, or do I need a full team? Both work! Register as an individual via the link and we'll do our best to slot you into a team at your requested playing level. Prefer to bring your own crew? Register as a team the same way — just let us know who's playing.
-
Will you grade the competitions? Yes absolutely. Within reason we don’t want score blowouts and encourage players to adopt a social sport attitude. The venue isn’t about pumping teams, but more focussed on enjoyment of sport. We’ll do our best to balance up the comps.
-
Do you have food available? Yep, coming in December, bar for snacks etc will be open from the start.
-
What about wet weather? Won’t be a problem for us at Grange Sports, we’ll play in all weather outside of storms and lighting.
-
What happens if your construction is late? Our builders are working to a program which completes the venue in late September / Early October and the major earthworks are more or less complete. Fencing and lighting will be stood over the coming weeks and thus we’re pretty confident of hitting our dates. Nevertheless if we’re a touch late, comps will start on natural grass surfaces at the adjacent Grange Thistle Football Club and will transition to Grange Sports as soon as possible.
-
Can we pay game to game? Initial signups for the inaugural season will be on a per season model however later seasons will include a management platform which acts as a typical subscription type model.
-
Can we just hire a court and come down and rip in? Yep, absolutely when not in use for comps we will be hiring courts for training, birthday parties etc. Booking platform will be live shortly, in the meantime email info@grangesports.com.au
